Uploading Pictures and Videos to Your Our Tributes Digital Memorial Page

You’ve written a beautiful tribute to your loved one detailing the events, accomplishments, traditions, memories, and personality traits of their uniquely lived life. The written portion of your digital memorial is important for recording memories and stories, but even the most carefully crafted words can’t capture the shine in your loved one’s eyes, the precise color of their hair, or the quirky angle of their smile. Photos and videos add precious visual and audio components to your memories that can’t be replaced. There’s something tender about seeing their face and hearing their voice.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to upload pictures and videos to an Our Tributes online memorial page:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Create an Account and Log In
    • You can purchase an Our Tributes QR code memorial plaque or create an account on the website and purchase a memorial page without a plaque. If you buy a QR code plaque, open the box and scan the code. You will be directed to the Our Tributes website, where you’ll create an account.
  2. Create a Memorial Page
    • Follow the prompts to enter basic information about your loved one, such as their name, dates of birth and death, and a brief biography.
  3. Add Photos
    • Once your memorial page is created, navigate to the "Photos" section.
    • Click the "Manage Photos" button.
    • Click the + icon.
    • Click “Add photos.”
    • A file selection dialog will appear, allowing you to choose photos from your computer.
    • Select the desired photos and click "Open." The images will be uploaded to the memorial page.
    • You can add captions to each photo by clicking on the image and entering the text in the caption field.
  4. Add Videos
    • Videos first need to be uploaded to either YouTube or Vimeo. Then, the link can be embedded into your loved ones' page by copying and pasting the link into the provided box on your page. Watch this step-by-step video, or read how below.

  • Use Visuals: Include a variety of photos and videos to capture different aspects of your loved one's life and personality.
  • Collaborate: Invite family and friends to contribute their own photos, videos, and stories to enrich the memorial.
